Description
Sylvia Pelayo is a Professor of Ergonomics at the University of Lille. Since 2011, she has co-directed the Clinical Investigation Center for Innovative Technologies (CIC-IT) at the Lille University Hospital and, since 2021, has coordinated the national Tech4Health network ([https://www.reseau-tech4health.fr](https://www.reseau-tech4health.fr)). This network, supported by the FCRIN infrastructure (INSERM), is dedicated to the evaluation of health technologies (medical devices, e-health solutions, biomaterials, etc.).
Sylvia Pelayo has extensive experience in supporting the maturation of health technology projects, both locally and at national and European levels. Her expertise focuses on technologies designed, evaluated, and implemented in compliance with regulations and all phases required to ensure safety, benefits, and user adoption. She is also the scientific lead of the IN CITU experimental third place ([http://incitu-hdf.fr](http://incitu-hdf.fr)), a digital health third place in the Hauts-de-France region.
